GUIDELINES
For your safety and enjoyment there are a few guidelines that must be followed:
1.        The designated area is the far right end of the pool with picnic benches. Food and drink must be consumed
only in your designated area. At no time should food or drink be taken into the pool.
2.        Music may be played for your event so long as Fairfax County’s noise ordnance is followed.
3.       Grills may be used for your event. You will need to provide your own grill.  Grills must be used at a safe
distance from the structure.
4.        Alcoholic beverages can be brought into the pool area. However you must be 21 to drink and SRG does not
assume liability for the actions of your guests.
5.        SRG will arrange to have a pool operator and the necessary number of lifeguards for your event. It is very
important that we have an accurate number 3 days prior to your party. For insurance purposes there must be one
lifeguard for every 20 people at the pool and a pool operator must be present at all times. We ask that you not
approach the lifeguards on your own as this may cause confusion.
6.        You may decorate the area as you please.
7.        Cleaning up the party area is your responsibility.
8.        Please provide a guest list for the lifeguards. This is for your protection as much as it is for their
information.
9.        Finally the last rule: no glass is allowed on deck—period!

FEES
The following is an explanation of rental fees. All fees are required in full at least 10 days prior to the party. If
weather is an issue and the party is cancelled due to weather you will be refunded a portion of the fees. A pool
rental contract form will be sent to you.  It should be returned with the appropriate check amount made payable
to Saratoga Recreation Group, Inc. Once this is received you will be called or mailed a confirmation letter with any
additional fees and pool guidelines. Additional fees are due 24 hours prior to your party. All parties must be
scheduled with the Social chairperson, not with the lifeguards.

DAYTIME PARTIES
Daytime parties are held during normal pool hours (11am—9pm). The time allotted for a daytime party is two
hours. During this time your party has a reserved area the far right corner of the pool NOT the area closest to the
bathhouse that is for our patrons to eat and drink. The far right corner is yours for those two hours. It can be
rented for a longer duration of time at an additional cost of $10.00 per half hour. You must contact the Social
Chairman and have additional time approved. Additional time may not be available if there is another party
scheduled after your event. After the contracted time has expired, the tables will once again be made available to
our other patrons.


NEW FEES ARE BEING SET BY THE BOARD ARE WILL BE PUBLISHED SHORTLY
The fees listed below apply for a two hour time span. The maximum number of daytime party guests is fifty
people. This includes adults and children, swimming or not. There is a non-refundable fee of $     if your party has
to be cancelled due to weather conditions. If you would like to reschedule your party, we will do our best to
accommodate your needs and the $    will be applied to your rescheduled party.
                                    1-40   people $            41-50 people $          

NIGHTTIME PARTIES
Nighttime parties are held after normal pool hours of operation. Beginning at 9pm until midnight, the pool can be
rented for a fee of $75.00. Lifeguards will be hired through SRG. County rules dictate that a pool operator must be
on deck while the pool is open. In addition, there must be one lifeguard for every 20 people within the pool
perimeter. Those two required lifeguards cover 40 people.

The hourly rates for pool operators and lifeguards are:

For example if you were having a party from 9—11pm with 35 guests:

Rental    =  $
  +     Operator =  $      (2 hours)
  +     Lifeguard = $      (2 hours)
                                $

Only if the party is cancelled due to weather conditions will you be issued a refund. All lifeguard fees are
refundable but $     of the rental fee is non-refundable. As with the daytime parties you may choose to reschedule
and all non refunded monies can be applied to another date. Rescheduling requires a new contract and approval
